Rare Finds 6 Bottle Mixed Case

Three wines that don't do things the conventional way. First, the Alfredo Arribas Brisat: a skin-contact white from Priorat, cloudy and savoury. Next, Georg Preisinger's Now or Never: a pale, cherry-scented Pet Nat from Austria, light and juicy. Last, Break Free Enfant de Lune Syrah: a natural Australian red, dense with plum and pepper, made without fining or filtration.

Tasting notes

Alfredo Arribas is a multi disciplinary architect who has developed most of his renowned international career in multiple world locations and more recently, many of his works have taken place in his birthplace, Barcelona. " Brisat ” meaning skin contact & this wine spends a longer time on its skins (18 days). Made from a wide range of Mediterranean graped varieties including Garnacha Blanca, Macabeo and Muscat, maceration takes place over 5 days with clusters destemmed berry by berry. Spontaneous fermentation, bleeding and very gentle pressing & finally aging in horizontal white stoneware eggs. Aromas of tropical fruit and green mango abound. Layers of quince, grapefruit, orange and mandarin fill the palate. This gorgeous White Priorat finishes with a real umami character and salinity.
