Tasting notes

This is a refreshing, lip smacking style of white with a mineral, grapefruit tang and lime fresh acidities with green apple notes and good fruit in the mid palate. This crisp white is bursting with citrus, apricots, white flowers and mineral notes and a hint of salt air on the nose. The palate is dry but ripe with rich flavours of stone fruits and citrus and it is long and flavourful on the finish.

Bodega Gótica have been producing wine in the municipality of Rueda for several generations. This is a clean and bright white wine with lemony hues. Medium intensity with fresh aromas of citrus and herbal tea. A creamy, delicate body with an enveloping fragrance. A touch of grapefruit bitterness which is very typical of the Verdejo grape. This is an lovely style of white wine.

Their Alvarinho is a citrus colour with lemon nuances, tropical fruits, floral with a touch of tangerine. It has a complex structure in the mouth & is balanced with prolonged freshness. Ideal as an aperitif and pairs nicely with shellfish, fish, soft shell crab cakes & light pasta with vegetables as well as Pan Asian cusine.
