Domaine la Rouillère Grande Réserve Rosé
Côtes de Provence · France · 37.5 cl · 12%
This wine has a pretty garnet colour, limpid and brilliant. Nose on notes fresh red fruits, crushed strawberries, accompanied by peppery notes. The palate is supple, round, the tannins are fine and light, for a wine easy to drink and fruity, with good length.
The Notre Dame des Pallières vineyards covers thirty hectares and produce respectful famous appellations with regard to nature : Gigondas, Rasteau, Sablet, Lirac & Côtes du Rhône. The wine estate gathers typical grape varieties from the Rhône valley such as Grenache, Mourvèdre & Syrah in order to produce highly traditional vinified quality grapes. The vines find a strong anchor in quaternary river alluvial soils under the Trignon Valley, and the perfect growing conditions due to the favourable micro climate and exceptional sunshine. Isabelle and Julien’s great grandfather, Jules Roux, planted the oldest vines the family have in Gigondas. The vines that make up this Côtes du Rhône are located on the terroirs of Sablet and Séguret, this diversity gives the wine its inimitable particularity.
Harvested by hand for the most part, completely destemmed with maceration about two weeks by controlling the temperature, winding and unloading daily, respecting the fruit.
