Domaine la Rouillère Grande Réserve Rosé
Côtes de Provence · France · 37.5 cl · 12%
Deep golden in colour, the wine is bright, clear and has good concentration. On the nose, the wine presents a lot of finesse and elegance with a very ripe aromatic framework with notes of acacia honey, candied lemon, quince paste, dried fruit and vanilla. A sublime nose that with aeration takes on fresher notes of minerality.Supple and rich attack on the palate, dominated by flavours of jammy fruit and honey but balanced with slightly lemony notes. The wine has a good length and finishes on a beautiful mineral note.
This Pouilly-Fuissé wine is made from old vines aged between 65 and 80 years grown on the slopes of the famous Roche de Solutré-Pouilly. It’s very clayey and shallow terroir, combined with very low yields and a long vinification of 12 months in oak barrels, allow us to produce a rich wine with a beautiful substance.Sourced from the oldest vine. All hand picked. This white wine is crafted from the Chardonnay grape, typical of the Burgundy region, and comes from a prestigious 1er Cru vineyard in Pouilly-Fuissé. The 2022 vintage benefited from optimal ripening conditions, resulting in fruit that is both expressive and refined.
